Daoud Basha with tomatoes, kebab Zamir

This recipe is full of flavours; it is beautifully spiced and makes a complete meal.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Pounds of ground meat, mixed with a little fat
  • 2 Pieces large onions
  • 1 Bunch of parsley
  • 1/2 Head of garlic, about five cloves
  • 3 Pieces fresh red tomatoes
  • 1/2 Bunch of fresh green coriander
  • 1 1/2 Cups of vegetable oil for frying
  • 1 Tablespoon of olive oil
  • 2 Cups of medium rice
  • 1 Pinch of salt to taste
  • 1 Pinch of salt
  • 1/2 Tablespoon of mixed spices
  • 1 Teaspoon of ground black pepper
  • 2 Tablespoons of tomato paste

Instructions
 

  • Start by preparing the finely chopped meat: then dice one onion, the parsley and the garlic finely
  • Add the ingredients to the meat in a large bowl; then knead very well together until you have dough
  • Knead the ingredients together very well until you get a very well combined mixture
  • Make small meatballs of equal size
  • Pour the vegetable oil in a frying pan; then heat it to a medium high heat
  • Fry the meatballs on all sides until they get a golden colour
  • Remove the meatballs from the heat and place it on a clean paper towel
  • Cut the onion and the tomatoes into slices of medium size; then sauté the onions and the tomatoes into olive oil until they become a bit wilted
  • Add the tomato paste; then stir very well until your ingredients are very well mixed together; then pour in a liter of hot water and let the mixture on heat until your ingredients are very well mixed together
  • Prepare the rice, and to do that wash it very well and soak it in warm water for 20 minutes, and then take a large pot and put a little vegetable oil in it; then add the rice to it
  • Pour boiling water on the rice; until t is fully submerge it; then let simmer on a low heat until it is cooked for about 20 minutes
  • Finely chop the green coriander; then sauté it slightly into hot oil
  • Serve the Dawood Basha with the fried and chopped green coriander
  • Enjoy your dish with the booked rice!
