- 1/2 pound of minced beef or lamb meat cuts
- 1 pound of white dry beans soaked in water the night before
- 1 small spoon of Italian 5 spice
- 2 cups of black olives
- 1 small scoop of harissa
- 1 pinch of ground black pepper
- 4 tablespoons of oil
- 1 pinch of salt
- 2 large tablespoons of tomato purée
- 1 tablespoon of garlic
- 2 finely chopped onions
Drain the beans and put them in water and cook in a large pan for about 20 minutes, make sure to change the water after each 10 minutes
Sauté the onions, the garlic; the greens and the harissa
Add the tomatoes, the hot water and cook for 30 minutes
Season the minced meat with garlic, harissa, the spices, and the harissa according to taste
Drain the beans from their water, and add them to the pot, then add half of the water you boiled in the pan
Cover with the lid and let simmer on a medium high heat
After 20 minutes, drop the minced meat and bring the pot to a boil
Add the olives and let it cook for two minutes
