  • --For the Dough :
  • 2 cups of flour
  • 1 cup of warm milk
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp yeast
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • --For the filling : -
  • 1 pound of ground meat
  • 1 grated onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 tbsp meat seasoning
  • 2 Blended tomatoes Salt & pepper
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp oil Mozzarella & cheddar cheese
--For the dough:
  1. First, mix the sugar, yeast. & 2 tsp. of the warm milk.
  2. In the mixer bowl, put flour, salt, rest of the milk & the yeast mixture.
  3. Mix them well, cover & leave the dough for 2 hours in a warm atmosphere to rise.
-- For the filling:
  1. In a saucepan, put the butter, oil, seasonings, garlic & onion.
  2. When they change in color, add the ground meat, stir occasionally.
  3. When the meat is done, add the tomato and stir.
--Assembling the pie:
  1. Preheat your oven at 150 degreeC
  2. Divide the dough into two, roll over the dough to make it a thin circle.
  3. Line your baking dish with parchment paper, put the first dough circle, then the meat, then half cup of mozzarella cheese.
  4. Now put the other part of the dough, press on the sides in order to let the two layers to stick together.
  5. Add more & more cheese. Add thyme & poppyseed on top(optiona)..
