  • 4 teaspoons ground sumac Sumac is a lemony spice
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice,
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic.
  • 2 tablespoon tablespoons pomegranate molasses. 1white vinegar.
  • cup ¾olive oil. Salt as desired. ½ teaspoon dried mint. Salad ingredients:
  • 1 in loaf labenese bread toastedoven with little olive oil and sumac sprinkle until golden brown.
  • ¼ cup olive oil. Salt as desired.
  • 3 medium tomatoes chopped.
  • 3 medium cucumbers thinly sliced.
  • 6 scallions thinly sliced.
  • 1 cups lettuce cut into medium strips. 2parsley leaves.
  • 1 cup fresh mint leaves ground sumac . optional
-- Dressing preparation:
  1. Soak the 4 teaspoons of sumac in 4 teaspoons of warm water In a small bowl for 15 minutes.
  2. Combine the soaked sumac In a mixing bowl with the lemon juice, pomegranate molasses, minced garlic, vinegar and dried mint.
  3. Gradually add olive oil while whisking the ingredients until they are well blended, then add salt as desired.
-- Salad preparation :
  1. Cut the toasted bread into medium pieces. Then place them in mixing bowl, add olive oil and salt , making sure to coat them well.
  2. In a large bowl add tomato, lettuce, parsley, scallions, cucumbers, and mint leaves, toss to combine. Season with salt as desired.
  3. Add the prepared dressing to the salad and mix well.
  4. Put toasted bread pieces on top of the salad and sprinkle some of sumac (optional), then serve.
